SME transmission is a complex topic and we appreciate you may have many questions on how to proceed and how to join the Re-New movement. We will clear your doubts with our FAQ
Re-New is designed for ambitious SME acquirers from diverse backgrounds: experienced leaders, finance professionals, sustainability-driven entrepreneurs, commercial strategists, or turnaround specialists. Our program welcomes and supports this diversity of profiles, united by one common goal: acquiring and leading responsible and resilient businesses.
Support doesn’t stop at closing. Re-New provides a post-acquisition program including strategic mentoring, operational guidance, and access to a vibrant community of fellow acquirers. The goal: help you secure the transition, create value, and build a resilient company.
The timeline depends on deal complexity and the candidate’s profile, but our structured approach accelerates a process that usually takes 18 to 24 months when done independently.
We focus primarily on micro-cap companies, valued between €1 and €10 million. Depending on the candidate’s profile, we can also support larger acquisitions. Re-New works with both healthy companies and distressed businesses, as long as they offer strong potential for succession and transformation.
There is no single “ideal profile.” Our proprietary selection process focuses on identifying high-potential acquirers by assessing their motivation to commit to a demanding project, their professional experience, the alignment between their background and their acquisition project, and their financing capacity. The goal is to empower talented, determined acquirers ready to transform SMEs responsibly and sustainably.
